The Python is a canon weapon that appears in all Call of Duty: Black Ops zombie maps. It also appears in the World at War maps, but only through Rezurrection or the Hardened/Prestige edition of the game through the mystery box.

The Python is one of the most damaging weapons in Zombies, as it is a 1 hit kill up to Round 10. After that, headshots will still do the job. It's main problem is it's reload speed which takes around half a second for each round, making it extremely slow and Speed Cola is definitely needed. Also, the recoil isn't very good.
Cobra[]
If you Pack-a-Punch the Python you will get the Cobra. The weapon doesn't get a max damage boost, but you can do a minimum of 600 damage, making it a 1-hit kill to Round 16. The gun holds 12 bullets now too and the reload is slightly better. Yet again, you get more ammo.
